Synopsis
Dr. Sanada, a doctor with an impulsive character and alcohol addiction, serves the community of a post-war neighborhood in Tokyo, where the disease and influence of the mafia prevail. One night, a local gang leader arrives at his office with a gunshot wound in his hand. As an unexpected relationship is forged, the doctor strives to save the life of the young yakuza member as he fights his own internal demons. Meanwhile, the gang leader returns from prison, eager to reclaim his territory and reconcile with his sick wife, who now assists the doctor in his work.
