The Stranger Came Home

Philip Vickers, a man who returns home after four years of absence, surprises his wife and friends at an elegant party on a farm. He had thought himself dead after a fishing trip in Portugal, where he was attacked and left unconscious by a stranger. Vickers suffers from amnesia, but has regained his faculties and is surrounded by potential suspects, including his wife. When one of them is killed at the party, the police are called in and suspect Vickers begins to be questioned.
