The O series. C. transports us to rich and luxurious Newport Beach, Orange County, California. The lives of its privileged inhabitants are involved in complex relationships between couples, parents and children, as well as in the passions, rivalries and friendships that unite the wealthy young people who live in this coastal city. The center of the plot is Ryan Atwood, a cautious and brilliant 16-year-old teenager who moves to Newport Beach, where he discovers that prominent families in the county are just as provincial as the people he left behind in Chinatown. In this new environment, Ryan finds refuge in Sandy Cohen, an idealist lawyer and his wife Kirsten, the backbone of Orange County society.
