The Murder Man

Steve Grey, an investigative journalist for the Daily Star newspaper, is known for breaking news stories before his competitors. When Henry Mander becomes the prime suspect in the murder of his unorthodox business partner, Grey uses his keen instinct to solve the puzzle before the police can even begin their investigation. His unusual ability to predict events leads to a speedy trial and conviction for Mander, who is sentenced to death. However, as the date of execution approaches, Mary Shannon, a columnist and Steve's loving interest, testifies to her struggle with a disturbing story that seems to have large-scale consequences. As he writes the narrative from Grey's engraved dictation, he begins to unravel a web of deception and intrigue that could change everything.
