Synopsis
Eddie Felson is a talented young billiard player whose goal is to defeat the legendary Minnesota Fats. Under the direction of corrupt manager Bert Gordon, Eddie begins to rise in the ranking. However, when developing genuine feelings for a woman, she faces a moral dilemma. This heated drama was nominated for nine Oscar Awards, including Best Film, and featured Paul Newman's starring performance.
