The Big Tip Off

Johnny Denton is a journalist who achieves fame by publishing tips on criminal activities by a newspaper. To maintain his anonymity, he never reveals the source of his information, which comes from the head of the crime himself, Bob Gilmore. Meanwhile, the latter organizes a fraudulent telephone in order to deceive the public. This subplot serves as a platform for various independent presentations by popular Los Angeles TV personalities such as Spade Cooley, April Stevens, Chuy Reyes and Ginny Jackson. As the plot progresses, Johnny and the head of crime face an opportunity for redemption thanks to Sister Joan's intervention; however, a seemingly deadly incident further complicates things.
