Andrey Obolensky, a promising young businessman, is unintentionally involved in the dark world of electoral manipulation when he is recruited by the incumbent governor to act as a "spoiler" in the upcoming gubernatorial elections. In charge of collecting votes and then transferring them to the undercover candidate, Andrey must sail dangerously through the lower ranks of public opinion engineering under the guidance of his cynical election coach and press secretary. However, his meticulous plans begin to melt when a Kremlin supervisor intervenes, forcing everyone involved to reconsider their strategies and loyalties in this tense dramatic policy.
