Synopsis
In the heartbreaking context of the end of Yugoslavia, a retired editor and his relics struggle to stay afloat in the midst of the fall of state publishing houses. On this path, a curious young curator explores the remains of the past through everyday objects, discovering how the legacy of Yugoslavia keeps our present customs alive. This journey through Belgrade's cultural heritage is complemented by the look of a Chinese writer who enters the region, offering an external perspective to the lives of these characters. The film takes us for their experiences, emotions and pains as they address the challenge of understanding their shared history, regardless of the physical distances that separate them. An intense and poetic portrait of the human spirit in search of comfort in a changing world.
