Piano Forest: The Perfect World of Kai

In the mysterious Forest of the Piano, Shuei, a fifth grader with great aspirations to become a pianist, is involved in an adventure that will lead him to discover his musical talent and to forge an unexpected friendship. After being transferred to Moriwaki Elementary School, Shuei faces the mockery attempts of Kinpira to make life impossible. Seeking to escape his torment, Shuei enters the Piano Forest and there finds a mysterious piano that seems not to produce sounds. However, when faced with the enigmatic Kai Ichinose, he discovers that he possesses the unique ability to extract melodies from that piano that seemed to be uninhabited. Together, Shuei and Kai explore their musical skills and learn about the transformative power of perseverance and self-esteem.
