Nan Taylor, a young woman involved in a successful bank robbery and known as "gun moll", is arrested and sentenced to serve her sentence in San Quentin prison. There, she meets David Slade, a radio-wave preacher who will surprisingly betray her and hand her over to the authorities. In the midst of this complicated situation, Nan will have to adapt to his new life as a "new prey" in San Quentin, where he will discover that his former accomplices, Don and Dutch, are also imprisoned on the other side of the wall, planning a bold escape.
