Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is an animated series that tells the story of Japan, subdued and renamed "Area 11" by the Holy Empire of Britannia. The Japanese inhabitants, now called "Elevens", live in precarious conditions while the British enjoy their luxury. In the midst of this oppression, Lelouch, a young man who lost his family to Britannia, seeks revenge and the liberation of Japan. After meeting a mysterious girl, he gets the power of "Geass" and becomes the leader of the resistance against the Empire. With this weapon in his hands, Lelouch intends to overthrow Britannia and build a world where his sister can thrive.
