Himalaya

In Himalaya, a film based on real events, we find the thrilling story of a renowned mountaineer who intends to rescue the body of his late climber from the dangerous Mount Everest. After losing contact with Mu-taek during an expedition, Hong-gil struggles with guilt for having encouraged him to face such a risky challenge. Longing to expiate his guilt and pay homage to his friend's memory, he joins a team of skilled climbers to face the inhuman conditions and climb the mountain in search of Mu-taek's frozen corpse. The film immerses us in this risky adventure, full of emotion and reflection on friendship, repentance and courage in the face of the challenge.
