In a Better World

In a world where violence and war mark day-to-day life in an African country, Anton, a Danish doctor, is engaged in a humanitarian mission in a refugee camp. Meanwhile, his wife struggles alone in Denmark with her children, Elias and Marie, who face emotional and physical challenges. The arrival of Christian, a young man who has lost his mother and grown up under the protection of his father, changes Elias's life by establishing an intense friendship with him. However, Christian's enclosed pain turns into violence, dragging Elias through a dangerous revenge game. According to Anton's ideals are called into question and the lives of both families are mixed up in the consequences, the border between justice and revenge is obscured.
