Synopsis
Seven days left for the 21st century: In Taiwan, incessant rain becomes an unprecedented phenomenon that, along with a mysterious epidemic, triggers quarantine imposed by the authorities. Despite warnings, the inhabitants of an old public building remain in their homes. In this apocalyptic context, a plumber arriving to repair a leak in Hsiao Kang's apartment accidentally opens a hole in the wall. Through this hole, Kang becomes friends with her downstairs neighbor, a woman with obsessive tendencies who accumulates toilet paper and dreams of singing and dancing duet. As chaos breaks out in the city, their lives become increasingly intertwined, showing unforeseen relationships and shared emotions in the midst of social collapse.
