In the peculiar village of St. Louis de Frá, Father Jose Maria Marín faces the imminent visit of an ecclesiastical delegate. Aware that this situation means that he is about to be held accountable for his actions, he decides to draw up a plan with his sacristan to find a corpse and inaugurate the long-awaited cemetery, even if it is necessary to resort to unorthodox means. Throughout their risky quest, they will be forced to face the grim consequences of living in a world where purpose justifies any action, and where every step forward can have serious repercussions.
