Dima, a war-loving tractor driver, dreams of joining the military forces fighting in the Moldovan Transnistrian border conflict. With the help of Vasea, an Afghan war veteran, Dima embarks on a dangerous mission to defend her homeland. However, their hopes turn in vain when they discover a charred corpse that prevents them from moving forward. As they advance in the war, Dima and Vasea must face the horrors of the conflict as they attempt to shed light on the mysterious fate of the unknown soldier. Their struggles lead them to discover the truth behind the charred corpse and to understand that even in the shadows of war, hope is still alive.
