Synopsis
Paul Graff lives a childhood full of adventures in the suburbs of New York. Accompanied by Johnny, a childhood friend marginalized by his skin color, spend days full of emotions and discoveries. However, Paul believes he is protected by his mother, a committed school principal, and his grandfather, with whom he shares a strong relationship. But an unexpected incident leads him to enter a prestigious private school, where he faces open elitism and racism that alters his vision of the world. Friendship with Johnny becomes a refuge for both of us in the face of the challenges they must overcome.
